Dr. Kelley Graham
"I was injured", says Dr. Kelley Graham. As a firefighter in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Graham was fighting a fire in an Air Force hanger and fell through the roof. After seeing other medical professionals regarding his injury, Dr. Graham still did not get any type of relief. That is when someone told him about their chiropractor, so an appointment was made.
"It was incredible," continues Dr. Graham as he remembers his initial visit and the relief that he felt after just one spinal adjustment. As Dr. Graham continued on his scheduled regime of care he realized what his chiropractor had done for him and he decided that is wanted to do after his Air Force tenure.
Dr. Graham began his pre-chiropractic education from the University of Alaska where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses and received a Bachelor of Science degree.
After completing his study there, he was accepted at Life College, School of Chiropractic, in Marietta, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. During his four years at Life, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life College Public Clinic. Dr. Graham received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College in 1995. Dr. Graham is also certified in the NeuroCore Therapy Program, Cox Flexion/Distraction technique and Spinal Decompression.
"We love educating patients," smiles Dr. Graham. Once patients understand the science of chiropractic and see X-rays of their spines they get it!! It is wonderful to take a patient through a corrective care plan and really make a difference. Patients appreciate the time that we take with them to explain what we are doing and why we are doing it.
Dr. Graham is married to Pennie, of 22 years, and they have a son Reece who is 15 years old and soon to be a sophomore at Hilton Head Island High School. Dr. Graham enjoys biking in his spare time and spending time with his family and their basset hound, Chipper.
Dr. Graham and his family are all chiropractic patients and maintain a regime of chiropractic adjustments to keep their spines aligned.
"Enough about me! How can we help you with your needs? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health with chiropractic care."
